Here’s what’s happening each day:
Monday: Never Let the Light Go Out (Neon Day) – Wear your brightest neon to light up the halls and show that every life shines bright.
Tuesday: You’ve Got a Friend in Me (Disney Day) – Dress as your favorite Disney character to remind others that friendship and support are always around.
Wednesday: Meet Us at the Door for a Treat (Treat Day) – Stop by for a small treat and a big reminder that kindness and connection matter.
Thursday: Team Up Against Suicide (Jersey Day) – Rep your favorite team to show that we’re all on the same side—looking out for one another.
Friday: Purple Out Suicide (Purple Day) – Wear purple to honor suicide prevention efforts and stand in solidarity with those affected.
Webinar with Psychologist Shreya Suresh
Shreya Suresh will provide practical strategies for coping with academic pressure, balancing responsibilities, and maintaining mental wellness. Students will have the chance to hear expert advice and ask questions about real-life stressors they face every day.
This webinar will empower students with tools to take care of their mental health—both in and out of the classroom.
Threads of Hope: Art Therapy Workshop
In this workshop, students will recycle old clothing into meaningful pieces of art, exploring how tactile, mindful activities can help reduce stress and promote emotional well-being. Guided by the FiberForward team, participants will learn how creating with their hands can be both sustainable and soothing—a powerful reminder that self-care can be creative, calming, and community-driven.
All materials will be provided, and no artistic experience is needed—just bring yourself and any clothing you'd like to repurpose!
